If you read the text in the manner in which trees grow, from the middle outward, you can read ‘special situations require special communication’. Remember the solar eclipse we found. What special communication does that situation require? We are looking for a method of communication that does not require light and works just fine in the dark. If it hasn’t clicked yet, look around the Card which symbols/grids the code (or communication, if you like) could consist of. The answer is that we are looking for braille.
